What we keep
For an account: your email address, and either a password (stored only in a one-way scrambled form we can't read) or the Google account you sign in with. What you send in for the pages you claim (bios, photos, logos, descriptions, corrections) and the proof you give with a claim. Photos sent only to verify something (the photo of your ID with a claim, or of your child holding your ID, and the photos and videos sent with a stats correction) are seen only by our reviewer and permanently deleted as soon as the claim or correction is decided. Payments are handled by Stripe: we never see or keep your card details, only whether your payment went through, your subscription's renewal date, the last four digits and expiry of your card (to show on your dashboard) and your receipts.
Emails about your account (confirming your address, password resets, claim decisions) are sent through Resend, which receives your email address to deliver them. Our newsletter goes only to members who ask for it, by ticking its box at sign-up or turning it on in Account Settings: your address is then added to our newsletter list at Resend. Unsubscribe any time from Account Settings or from the link in any newsletter.
What we show
Only what's approved for the pages you own: bios, photos, logos, descriptions and links, and a Verified badge. We never show an email address.
Cookies
One cookie keeps you signed in. No advertising or tracking cookies.
Your data
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete what we keep about you, or to close your account.
